now i only have these left to do...

-figuring out my finances
-call social worker lady/finish food stamps forms before they CUT ME OFF!!!
-send ma my address so she can send me my tax forms
-schedule where/when to do taxes!
-finish those forms for AES

Thinking of Waves in 13 Ways

1. I am a glistening strand of spider silk waving in the wind.

2. A red leaf surfing the breeze aimed at my crown lands in my onyx waves.

3. Like waves, one day life is fine the next it is hell then fine again.

4. A plastic bottle stuck in the shore: waves push it in then suck it back out.

5. Sunny or thunder-- regardless of the weather's mood, the waves will churn if you go out far enough.

6. What do blackbirds know about the waves? And the poets? We do our best to translate in our own tongues.

7. Strum chum strum! Bang that drum! I tremble on piano in the key of some wavy tremolo.

8. As is the way of waves, they come and go like people in our lives, like the day, the night, and patterns in our lives.

9. "When I return, nothing will be the same." Waves experience life this way and find true peace.

10. To be a human truly being, some imprint of you should be left behind, speaking for you after death, like eternal waves.

11. The corn fields and wheat fields know about waves, and don't forget about the wildflowers-- swaying the beat of some pastoral verse.

12. Thousands of miles high an airplane passes over some trees, sends waves below and shakes the brittle brown leaves down.

13. Steal a moment, make a splash, cause waves. There are always consequences.
